New York

Heading to New York for a few days. My work is sending me to the Big Apple for some Spa training and I'm staying a bit longer for a second (or maybe even a first) honeymoon. I'm interested to see just how big this place is in reality. Little nervous, since Seattle seems big to me, but I'm still excited. I hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll see you all when I get back.

The Weather Man didn't predict this...

Now that our weather is changing, which living in Washington it shouldn't be a surprise, expect your joints, muscles, and headaches to start aching out of nowhere. With multiple factors in your circulation causing the tension, aches, headaches, joint problems, etc., you can add atmospheric pressure, temperature, and change in ionic conditions to add to those factors. Throughout the year when the weather and atmosphere change so does our body. Anything that deals with fluid changes. It will cause many different issues throughout your body and it will really irritate damaged areas like bad knees, ankles, and shoulders. Decrease that acidity, get the blood moving to everywhere (especially through the feet and stomach), and your body will balance itself out.

If you're thinking about coming to see me to help with what you're feeling, schedule early, because during weather and atmospheric changes my books get really busy. Fall is coming... or is here, however one tends to look at it. It's not all bad.

On a personal note...

On a personal note, I am looking to finally go to Bastyr University for my BS/MS in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. After that, hopefully receive my Doctorate in both. This has been a long time coming and it seems that the time is ripe. There will be quite an extensive amount of schooling, but I've felt that this is the direction that my life has been meaning to go for quite some time. Once I have completed this schooling, I can be the first to combine Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture with the amazing Sennin-So Shiatsu. I see nothing but amazing potential with these combinations and I know deep down it is the right choice and path. I plan to work at Pro Club throughout the entire course, which is just over 3 years.

There is a part of this that I am looking for some advice and direction from anyone and everyone, and that is finances. Does anyone of you amazing individuals know of any scholarships or grants that I can look into? The cost of this prestigious school is not like Harvard but it is not like a community college either. It will roughly cost me $75,000 for the 3 year course and I do not have a whole lot of information on finding financial aid for this.

I would love to hear from you with any ideas that you may have. Anything will be great, especially if it takes me onto a path that can help my cause.

I personally can't wait to go to school for this and I know that the things that I can accomplish with this degree could be amazing for me, my family, and thousands of people all over the world, maybe even millions one day... you never know.

Take care everyone. Stay Happy, Healthy, and Ready for Everything.
